    Chat Delight Dahi Sev Batata Puri Recipe

    In any season we love to eat the sev batata puri. We all love to eat this in the streets, but it is not so healthy.

    You can make it at your home and enjoy it with you family and friends. Kids also love this and it is healthier too. So check out the recipe and enjoy.


    2 to 3 medium sized boiled potatoes

    1 small finely chopped onion

    1 small finely chopped tomato

    a few sprigs of coriander leaves

    1/2 to 3/4 cup curd

    1/2 cup coriander chutney

    1/2 cup sweet tamarind chutney

    1/4 to 1/2 cup red or garlic chutney

    puri or golgappa as per your requirement

    red chili powder as per requirement

    chaat masala as per your taste

    roasted cumin powder

    black salt or rock salt as per your taste

    Assemble Ingredients

    Prepare all the ingredients like boil the potatoes and peel it, chopped onion and tomatoes, keep ready green chutney, tamarind chutney and red chutney. You can also prepare spicy pani for pani puri as you like it is optional.

    Whip Curd

    Whip the yogurt properly. No need to add sugar in curd and do not make it sour keep it simple only.

    Prepare Puris

    Take a plate and arrange puris or golgappa. You can decide the number puris you want to serve to others. But it is good to take a small plate.

    Add Potatoes

    First add the boiled, peeled and chopped potatoes in the puris. Remember there are only one or two pieces of potatoes in the puris.

    Add Onions

    Now add finely chopped onions in it. Remember onion should be chopped in very small pieces. Large pieces will not look good.

    Add Chutney

    Now add the green chutney, sweet chutney and red chutney in it. You can select the proportion of the chutney as you like.

    Add Curd

    Now add 1 tsp curd in the puris. Keep it purely so it will not look bad. After that sprinkle some chaat masala or red chili powder as you like.

    Serve It

    Now your sev batata puri is ready so serve it with spicy pani or chutney as you like and enjoy it with your friends and family.
