Cheese Vegetable Paratha

Kids will forget that they’re eating veggies more than cheese in this paratha.

Preparation Time: 20 mins
Cooking Time: 20 mins

Ingredients :-

For the Dough :

1 cup plain flour (maida)
1 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1 tbsp ghee
3/4 tsp salt

To be ground into paste (for stuffing) :

3 green chillies
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1 ginger (adrak)

For The Stuffing :

2 cups finely chopped carrots
1 cup green peas
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
4 tbsp grated processed cheese
1 cup finely chopped cauliflower
1 cup finely chopped potatoes
2 chopped green chillies
salt to taste

Other Ingredients :-

plain flour (maida) for rolling
ghee for cooking

Cooking Method :-

For the dough :

Combine all the ingredients with enough water to make a semi-soft dough.
Cover with a muslin cloth and keep aside.

For the stuffing :

Heat the ghee and fry the cumin seeds till they begin to break.
Add the chopped vegetables, ground paste, green peas and 2 to 3 tbsp of water and cook on a slow flame until the vegetables are done.
Crush the vegetables, add cheese, coriander and salt and mix well.

How to proceed :

Mold the dough till smooth and divide into 20 portions.
Make roll of portion of the dough into a small thin round with the help of plain flour.
Spread a little filling on one round, cover with the other round and press well.
Cook on a hot tawa (griddle) on both sides using a little ghee until brown spots appear on the surface.
Serve hot.
