    Must Try South Indian Mango Chutney Recipe

    This is a mango traditional chutney from Andhra cuisine known as kobbari mamidikaya pachadi and mostly it is contains the thicker consistency.

    You can made this chutney at your home and served it with chapati or rice. You can make it slight thick to eat it with rice. So check out the recipe and enjoy.

    INGREDIENTS:

    1/2 cup chopped mangoes

    1/2 cup grated coconut

    1/2 to 3/4 inch piece of ginger

    1/2 tsp cumin

    1 to 2 tsp urad dal seeds

    1 to 2 green or red chilies

    1 tsp oil

    Salt as per taste

    1 sprig curry leaves

    1/2 dried red chili

    generous pinch of mustard

    1/4 tsp cumin or jeera

    pinch of hing

    Cut Mangoes

    First take a manoges wash it, peel it and cut it into small or medium size pieces. A raw mango is more suitable to prepare chutney.

    Fry Green Chili

    Take a pan and fry green chili, cumin seeds and urad dal till it changes its color and the smell goes off.

    Blend Mangoes

    Take a blender or grinder jar and add ginger, mango, coconut and salt in the jar.

    Blend It

    Blend all the ingredients and prepare smooth paste. Add 3 to 4 tbsp water in it to make it smooth.

    Fry Other Ingredients

    Fry other seasoning ingredients in the same pan.

    Serve It

    Now your mango chutney is ready. So serve it with chapati in lunch or dinner as you like and enjoy it with friends and family members.
