    Must Try Spicy Egg Roast Biryani Recipe

    You make egg biryani recipe in many ways, but now first you try this it will be easy to make a start. You can serve this recipe in your lunch or in family gatherings.

    INGREDIENTS: FOR BIRYANI RECIPE:

    2 cups jeerakasala rice

    1 tsp to 1 tbsp ghee or oil

    1 small bay leaf

    1/2 tsp shahi jeera

    2 green cardamoms or elachi

    Salt as per your taste

    FOR BIRYANI GRAVY:

    4 to 5 boiled eggs

    2 tbsp ghee or oil

    1 star anise / chakri phool / biryani flower

    1 inch cinnamon stick or dalchini

    2 green cardamoms stick or elachi

    1 bay leaf or tej patta

    2 cloves

    1/2 to 3/4 cup sliced onions

    1/2 cup sliced tomatoes

    1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

    1 green chili slit

    3/4 tsp chili powder

    1/4 tsp turmeric

    1/2 cup coconut milk

    Handful coriander leaves

    1 tbsp ghee for layering

    FOR MASALA POWDER OR USE 1 TBSP KERALA GARAM MASALA:

    3/4 tsp saunf / fennel seeds

    1 inch cinnamon stick

    4 cloves

    1/2 tsp pepper corn

    4 green cardamoms / elachi

    1 strand of mace / javitri

    2 petals of star anise / chakri phool

    Pinch of nutmeg powder

    1 tbsp coriander seeds

    1/2 tsp cumin or jeera

    Wash Rice And Prepare Egg

    Wash rice for few minutes and soaked it for 30 minutes. Boil the eggs and after that remove the cover over the eggs.

    Prepare Rice

    Take a deep vessel add 6 to 8 cups of water to boil and add bay leaf, shahi jeera and cardamom along with salt and 1 tsp of oil. When water is boiled add rice.

    Cook rice on a medium flame for 10 minutes. After cooking it drain it in a colander and keep it aside.

    Add Tomatoes

    Take sauce pan heat ghee or oil and saute small piece of bay leaf, small cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, 2 cardamoms and 1 star anise, 1/2 to 3/4 cup onion and 1 or 2 slit of green chilies and saute it. Add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 cup sliced tomatoes and salt. Add salt as per your taste.

    Add Spices

    Now add 3/4 tsp chili powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, and garam masala. You can add spices as per your taste also.

    Add Eggs

    Add boiled eggs and saute for 2 to 3 minutes. If desired you can cover and cook for 2 minutes.

    Add Coconut Milk

    Now add 1/2 cup coconut milk in it and boil it and mix everything. Now you will have a thick gravy and add coriander leaves.

    Sprinkle Coriander Leaves

    Now sprinkle coriander leaves and ghee over the rice. Ghee is optional. Cook it for few minutes.

    Now mix egg with biryani properly and add spices if required.
