Milk thickened to give you an instant sweet rabdi.
Preparation Time : 10 mins.
Cooking Time: 15 mins.
2 bread slices
2 cups milk
a few saffron (kesar) strands
1/4 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
1/4 cup condensed milk
2 tbsp sugar
Cooking Method :
Remove the crusts of the bread slices. Crush the bread slices in food processor & make fresh bread crumbs. Keep aside.
Put the milk to boil in a bottomed pan.
Add the fresh bread crumbs, condensed milk and sugar and cook on a high flame & stir continuously approx. for 10 minutes.
Remove from the gas stove & add the saffron, cardamom powder and mix well.
Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours and serve chilled
You can also garnish with Pista. (Pistachio)
