37 Killed In Syria Clashes
At least 37 people were killed on Thursday in clashes between the Syrian army and rebel and Islamic factions in Syria's Hama province, a British-based war monitor reported.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that among those killed were 16 government troops, while 21 others were militants, Efe news reported.
The Syrian army is attempting to regain control over the villages of Teibet al-Imam and Halfaya, where the fighting is taking place, from rebel groups that have been controlling them since 2016.
The Syrian government's artillery and warplanes have launched intense strikes on the same area.
